Eilen käytiin ottamassa kolmas Cartrophen-pistos ja samalla juttelin hetken aikaa eläinlääkärin kanssa. Kerroin että olen tunnustellut koiraa ja huomannut että sillä on kipuja olkanivelessä. Saatiin samalle iltapäivälle vielä aika olkanivelen kontrollikuvaukseen. Kuvasta tehtiin yllättävä löytö, olkanivelen alapuolella, olkaluussa, on tapahtunut muutoksia viime kuvan (18.2.) jälkeen, ei vaan tiedetä varmasti että mikä tämä muutos on. Valitettavasti edes kasvaimen mahdollisuutta ei voitu vielä sulkea pois. Mutta positiivista on se että ensimmäistä kertaa tuntuu siltä että tiedetään missä se vika on.

It's been long since I've had strength or will to write here because Kunto hasn't been very well lately and it's been wearing to see him like that.
Yesterday we went to vet because Kunto got his third Cartrophen-injection. At the same time I got change to talk with vet and tell her that I had noticed that Kunto has pain in the shoulder joint. Luckily they had free time in afternoon and we went there to get new x-rays of Kunto's shoulder joint. Our vet made a surprising discovery when she watched the picture, there were changes in the humerus and those changes weren't there when the last picture was taken (February 18th). But the problem is, we don't know what these changes are. unfortunately even tumor is still one of the possibilities.. But the silver lining is that for the first time, we know where the problem is.
Our vet sent me the pictures today via e-mail so here you can see the changes in the humerus. The problem area is that white area in the front. Click pictures to see them bigger.

Now we need to think what's up next. Maybe we'll head to MRI if it seems like there's hope for his healing.
